The One Medical Devices Technology Appliance Co., Ltd. donated a 5.8mm disposable endoscope in late December 2025 to Pumakawa Nature Reserve, located in Córdoba Province, Argentina, demonstrating its commitment to supporting wildlife medical care and conservation efforts.
Pumakawa Nature Reserve is a non-profit conservation area established over 30 years ago, dedicated to the protection of native flora and fauna and the promotion of environmental education in Argentina.
Operating in accordance with international conservation principles such as those of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), Pumakawa carries out a wide range of activities including animal care, wildlife recovery, native plant restoration, educational outreach, and research. The reserve also provides long-term, safe habitats for animals that have been injured or are unable to be reintroduced into the wild due to previous living conditions.
The donated 5.8mm disposable endoscope features a slim design, ready-to-use convenience, and reduced risk of cross-contamination. These characteristics support veterinary teams in conducting safer and more effective endoscopic observation and evaluation during clinical examinations and procedures, addressing the practical needs of multi-species care environments.
The One Medical Devices stated, “We believe that the value of medical technology goes beyond clinical application—it reflects respect for life itself. Being able to support the animal care and conservation work at Pumakawa Nature Reserve through our products is an important step in fulfilling our corporate social responsibility.”
Looking ahead, The One Medical Devices will continue to invest in the development and innovation of endoscopic technologies while actively engaging in global medical and humanitarian initiatives, striving to create a positive impact on both human and animal healthcare worldwide.
